Spring 2012 - Return to Femininity

It's all about the feminine silhouette. It is floral-inspired, tropical-inspired, ethnic-inspired, and artist-inspired and seen in a range of colors from pale pastels to shocking neons. Accessories will be minimal but in line with accentuating the feminine look.

Pastel Sorbet Shades: Pastels are feminine and girly. Think everything from floor length skirts to taffeta, tulle and organza in baby pinks, blues and yellows.

Color Blocking: It’s here to stay, but if you're still unsure of jumping on the train, try it out in small doses. Pair a color block skirt with a solid blouse or tee and top off the look with heels for a sporty femme look.

Tangerine Dreams: Number one color of Spring/Summer 2012 would be ~Tangerine. If tangerine is not your favorite color then there are plenty more orange hues to choose from.

Flowers and Prints: How could any warm season be without florals~ that’s unnatural. In Spring/Summer 2012 oversized florals, mirror-like geometric shapes, even parrot prints are super trendy. Time to have some fun under the sun!

Sporty: With the Olympics this year, we will see plenty of sporty, athletic looks. Think cute anoraks, jackets with hoods and a heavy dose of nylon.
